Twenty-seven lady drivers were recently hosted to a Women in Wheels Clinic at Asco Motors head office in Nabua, Suva. The clinic is designed specifically for women, giving female motorists the opportunity to learn about the importance of vehicle maintenance, driving, vehicle safety tips and providing a practical experience on issues such as flat tyres, oil changes and other vehicle mechanics.

The recent clinic included a theory component and a practical one. During the theory section, participants were handed a booklet detailing safety tips, and self-maintenance tips. The practical session involved a hands-on approach in vehicle maintenance and checks, which was further broken down into five areas including engine inspections, car safety features, under vehicle inspection, changing a tyre and jump starting a flat battery.

Customer Relations Manager Ms Camari Tabuavuni-Naua says, “This program demonstrates to our customers that our vehicle servicing is properly delivered and we ensure the best quality of service. Through this program, there is also a possibility of redeeming former customers who have taken their patronage elsewhere. This also will encourage existing customers to bring in their vehicles for regular periodic maintenance.”

All participants were presented with a certificate and gift voucher redeemable at any of our Asco Motors service or parts outlets.
