Avis Fiji management and staff recently visited residents of Loloma Home, located at Sabeto, on the outskirts of Nadi town, and presented them with groceries and household items
The Avis Fiji team brought some smiles to residents of Loloma Home recently. The Loloma Home located about five kilometres from Nadi town, is home to single destitute and homeless mothers and their children.
Run and managed by volunteers, the home currently has twelve children, with ages ranging from one year to nineteen years and their mums, a total of nine single mothers. Most of the children have lived there for much of their lives. In addition to the single mums, the home also accomodates two elderly ladies.
Avis Management and staff presented residents with groceries just before the Christmas long weekend, much to the delight of the occupants.
Manager Avis Eleanor Tabakaucoro says “when we heard about the Loloma Home, we really wanted to do something special for them this Christmas. ‘Loloma’ in Fijian means love and we are glad that we were able to share a bit of love and Christmas joy with them this year”.
The residents were very appreciative and thanked the Avis Team for their generosity and kindness.
