In Fiji all Toyota vehicles come with a 36 month / 100,000km (whichever comes first) comprehensive warranty. The warranty period begins on the date the vehicle is first delivered or put into use.
Toyota warrants that it will either repair or replace any part that Toyota supplies that is defective in material or workmanship under normal use except those items not listed under “What is Not Covered” for a period of 36 months or 100,000kms (60,000 miles), whichever comes first.
The following items specified below are covered for periods other than the Basic Coverage:
Battery: During the first 24 months of service, or up to 100,000 kms (60,000miles), a defective original equipment battery will be replaced free of charge. Should the battery fail after 24 months of service, but before the 37th month of service or 100,000kms (60,000 miles) it will be replaced under warranty at a 50% charge to the customer.
Surface Rust and Paint Damage: Surface rust and paint damage appearing on deck panels of utility vehicles is covered for 12 months or 20,000kms (12,000 miles) whichever comes first. Surface rust and paint damage other than utility deck panels is covered under the Basic Coverage.
Towing: When your vehicle is inoperative due to a warranted part failure, towing service is covered to the nearest authorised dealership.
Tyres: Tyres are warranted under a separate warranty provided by the tyre manufacturer.
No Charge: Warranty repairs (parts and/or labour) will be made at no charge.
Fully Transferable: Warranty coverage is fully transferable to subsequent vehicle owners.
Warranty Application: The warranty is valid only within the country where the Toyota Distributor listed on Warranty Registration is located.
